07/04/13  The Wisconsin Talgo trainsets, completed in March, 2012, remain in storage at the Talgo plant on Milwaukee’s north side.  The two trainsets that Talgo built for Oregon at the Milwaukee plant have been delivered and will be in service in Oregon and Washington shortly.  In March, 2012, the Walker administration stopped paying on the Talgo contract, refusing to honor it.  In November, 2012, Talgo was forced to file a breach of contract lawsuit against the state,  That lawsuit is still in litigation.  The pictures below show exterior and interior photos of the equipment that should be running today in Hiawatha service.

03/12/13 WisARP now has a permanent presence at the Milwaukee Intermodal Station in downtown Milwaukee.  Working with real estate firm CBRE, who manages the station, it was decided to purchase a brochure rack that matched the 3 racks ordered by the Milwaukee County Transit System.  The 4 racks now sit side by side on the north wall of the Amtrak waiting area.
